Resultst 2011

Ones more we went with the dogs to Europe this year. This time European Dog Show in Holland.
It was my neighbor Annette and I who went to the Show and also to see some of Holland.

This was one of the first Dog Shows for Anette. But she did not bring her own dogs. She thought it would be really nice to get away on the long ride with me and the dogs.
Jackie and Lilly was entered to EUDog Show. So we packed the car on Wednesday and drove down to Europe on the night between Wednesday and Thursday. We arrived late on Thursday afternoon. It took much longer than we had planned. And this because there were road works through Germany, and a lot of them.

Once there, we came to the hotel which was completely super . Large rooms with comfortable beds and a staff who did anything you asked them about.
The Show area was only a few kilometers from the hotel so we did not have to get up that early.

Both Jackie and Lilly competed in open class bitches so Kaisa my friend from Poland helped me to show Jackie. (Many thanks for your help Kaisa)
Lilly won the open class and Jackie was second in open class. Lilly then competed for the CACIB against the Champion bitch but had to settle for RES-CACIB.

We decided to go to the north of Holland in the afternoon after the show to maybe swim in the ocean with the dogs. But talk about that I was disappointed!! It was ebb tide so it was no water at all when we arrived.
At least we had a good dinner in a harbor restaurant before we headed back to the hotel.

Saturday we had a late morning before we packed the car and went south of Holland.
We had a tip from the veterinarian at the show that we have to go to Giethoorn. He said it was Holland's Venice. A small town in the middle of Holland with canals everywhere, really nice with cafes and restaurants. We did not take the boat with the dogs, but sat down at a restaurant and had some coffee and ice cream. The dogs also get ice cream . Which was much appreciated, I can say.
This day was about 30 degrees so the ice cream tasted really good.

On Sunday, went back home to Sweden.
